If you like good southern cooking with rich, country flavors, Wimpies is the place to go! Not only do they have the best fall-off-the-bone ribs you'll ever taste, but their pulled pork with handcrafted house BBQ sauce, burgers, and everything else on the menu will have you coming back for more. Great prices, hometown atmosphere, and the owners, David and Pam, do their best to make every visit a pleasure. I'd eat here every night if I could. They also cater!!!

My husband and I eat breakfast here pretty often when he is here working at the plant. This is my choice for a great breakfast. The only problem I can find with it is that they do not have tomato gravy to go with their biscuits. Other than that..... Great home cooked meals.

Country style home cooked food and its very Delicious. It is in an old building, sort of a nice dive/diner- lol but you get the idea. It adds to the country charm! The food is always good and very reasonable prices! The service is fantastic - as you'd expect very friendly country gals serving there and it's all good!

I used to eat at Wimpies years back when it was at another location. Now that I'm back in Soddy-Daisy its a weekly journey for me to eat there. Its a locally owned family restaurant with great burgers, a wonderful breakfast menu and some great dinner choices. It isn't 5 Star dining, its southern comfort food. Its kraut and wienies, its biscuits and gravy. Always great service from a staff that really cares about the customer. Try it, you'll be going back OFTEN,

Wimpie's is a locally owned small town country style restaraunt with small town atmosphere, extra friendly service, reasonable prices, and of course good food. This country cooking restaurant serves up true home style country cooking, not like the out of can and warmed in the microwave flavor you get from other supposed country cooking places. Wimpies has a lot of regular clientele, and is a good place to go catch up on all the local gossip and politics. They have large breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus with something for everyone on each and portions are hearty. If you're a long time local resident, new to the area, or just passing through, Wimpies should be at the top of your list of places to try.
